“HistorioGRAPHICS: Framing the Past in Comics” is an international conference that “sets out to critically assess the current state of research on graphic narrative as means of writing – and drawing – history and of examining, representing, and engaging with the past.”
The conference will take place in the Amerikahaus and the Munich Documentation Center for the History of National Socialism, Munich, Germany, June -15-17, 2023.

I nearly did not attend this conference due to frozen research travel budgets at my school. Huge gratitude to the HistorioGRAPHICS conference organisers for the funding support that will allow me to be there.
